If you are a Geek and want to be featured for a week, send us a short description of your talents and your resume. This is a sort of “run it up the flagpole” post.
Are there geeks out there that find themselves having to do some sort of work involving a mainframe, but don’t have any (or much) mainframe experience? I’m a mainframe systems programmer (I install software and tweak it, sort of a sysadmin) with 31 years experience, and I’m wondering if there’s a market for a second-level consultancy using my skills to either help you complete your project(s) or train you to have the skills you may need.

I’m not sure as the last time I had to do any work on a mainframe was when I worked at a university over 10 years ago. If interested, go ahead and send us a description / resume of yourself and we’ll be happy to feature you.
